01Who we are

Cardmarket Buyout Helper (the “Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension operated by IamLadi s.r.o., č.p. 332, 739 45 Fryčovice, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 09877169, VAT ID (DIČ) CZ09877169, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, Insert 84636.

02What the Extension does

The Extension reads the Cardmarket.com page you are currently viewing and calculates a buyout (purchase) price for the trading cards listed there. Card shop vendors use it to capture offers into local buyout lists, compute prices, and produce purchase records.

03The one thing that matters

Everything the Extension processes stays on your device. We operate no server for this product. The Extension transmits nothing to us or to any third party. It contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and loads no remote code.

04Data stored locally on your device

The Extension stores the following in your browser’s local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), and nowhere else:

  • Content captured from Cardmarket pages you choose to capture from — card names, prices, seller display names, and card image references.
  • Data you type in yourself — buyout lists, notes, settings, and details you enter when generating a purchase contract (which may include personal data of your counterparty, such as name and address).

Exports (XLSX) and JSON backups — including an automatic weekly backup — are saved as ordinary files to your own computer via the browser’s download mechanism. They never leave your machine unless you move them yourself.

05Browser permissions, in plain words

  • storage, unlimitedStorage — hold your buyout data locally; the unlimited variant only raises the local quota for large histories and backups.
  • sidePanel — the Extension’s user interface.
  • declarativeNetRequest — one static rule that lets card thumbnail images from Cardmarket’s own image CDN render in the side panel. No other requests are observed or modified.
  • downloads, alarms — saving your exports and scheduled local backups.
  • cookies — a recovery tool for one specific failure: when Cardmarket returns HTTP 431 because its cookies grew too large, the Extension offers a one-click cleanup that removes cardmarket.com cookies (preserving Cloudflare clearance cookies). It runs only when you click it; cookies are never read for any other purpose, stored, or transmitted.

06Your customers' data and the GDPR

Because nothing is transmitted to us, we do not receive or process personal data of you or your customers. If you enter your customers’ personal data into the Extension (for example when generating a purchase contract), that data lives only on your device and you act as its data controller under the GDPR — the Extension is a local tool, comparable to a spreadsheet on your computer.

Removing the Extension from Chrome deletes its local storage (this is how Chrome works). Use the built-in Export before removing or migrating if you want to keep your data.

07Data sharing

None. We do not sell, transfer, or share any data — there is no data on our side to share. The Extension is not affiliated with Cardmarket or Google; your use of Cardmarket itself is governed by Cardmarket’s own terms and privacy policy.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Since we hold no personal data about you, these rights are in practice exercised directly on your own device — but if you believe we do hold anything, or have any question, write to ladi@amentistudio.com and we will respond. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).

09Changes to this policy

If the Extension’s behavior ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and note the change in the Extension’s release notes before the change ships.
